More Cowbell

I didn't know where the term “more cowbell” had come from until recently.

Here is the Saturday Night Live skit that, according to urban legend, spawned the phrase:

More cowbell, indeed!

But that's quite a literal take on the phrase. Here's my Austen-approved variant!

Why have one piano when you can have three? Why have one pianist when you can have three? Why have fewer notes when you can have more?
